For our sustainable growth, we are seeking for a Databricks Technical Lead who can elevate our Databricks competence center to the next level. Within togaether, we support a wide spectrum of technologies, allowing us to offer the best solution for every type of client. We provide expertise in Azure, AWS, GCP, Snowflake, Databricks, and Python.
Who is our brand new Databricks Technical Lead
As a Technical Lead Databricks, you play a crucial role in the development of the Databricks competence center within togaether. You have a strong technical background and are passionate about technology, combining it with leadership skills.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Your primary role is to work as a solution architect/data engineer on client projects.
- You act as an ambassador for your team.
- You have a solid technical foundation in your domain and inspire and stimulate innovation.
- You are involved in the recruitment and selection of new profiles for the team.
- You contribute to the training program for the people in your team.
- You act as a technical coach/sparring partner/technical point of contact for your colleagues.
- You mentor junior consultants to ensure a smooth onboarding/transition.
- You encourage knowledge sharing by organizing sessions and building a knowledge base.
- You build a network within your domain with vendors, (potential) partners, and potential colleagues.
- You support sales with pre-sales activities (e.g., responding to RFPs, providing technical explanations to clients).
- You contribute to an overarching architecture/framework within the Algorhythm technology landscape.
- You maintain relationships with colleagues from other domains and technologies.
Requirements
What do we expect from our Technical Lead Databricks?
- A togaether mindset: good communication skills, down-to-earth, eager to learn, able to think along with the client, and striving for win-win outcomes.
- Demonstrable experience in designing, developing, and implementing Databricks solutions.
- Certification in at least one Cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP) or relevant experience.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Building and maintaining data pipeline architectures is not new to you.
- You are detail-oriented, analytically strong, and always think in terms of solutions.
